and life science separations to develop unique, high performance, separation chemistries.
The chemistries have been integrated into small packaged products that provide
the healthcare, life sciences and telecommunications markets with cost-effective,
simple solutions that refine their processes to prevent toxic emissions. The integration
of proprietary chemistries into disposable end-user products is in line with the
regulatory agencies "pollution prevention" agenda and constitutes the most cost-effective approach to cleaning up waste streams.
The company is committed to continuously re-investing in the research and implementation of new cost-effective chemistries, as well as in the development of methods to optimize their current technology for use in other industries. Currently, SolmeteX® is exploring new applications of their highly successful mercury removal system, including cuspidor traps, clinical analyzer polishers, and laboratory POU systems.
